ולרוב יחידה אחת כזאת ללא מגברים יכולה להגיע למרחק שידור של בערך 30 מטרים בתנאים רגילים ובתנאים אופטימאליים (ללא חפצים שמפריעים) יכולה להגיע למרחק שידור של בערך 60 מטרים
כלומר רוב יחידות התקשורת הללו יכולות לשדר למרחק של 10 מטרים
