עזרה ב-OpenCV

שלום,
אני עושה פרוייקט של תותח שאמור לבצע ירי על נקודה המסומנת על ידי מצביע לייזר אדום על קיר בצבע לבן. על הצריח המסתובב מותקנת מצלמה ותותח.
התקנתי במחשב שלי OpenCV וזה עובד, עכשיו עליי לזהות את ה-x וה-y של נקודה. באילו פונקציות כדאי להשתמש ואיך להתחיל?

אם אכן מדובר בנקודה אדומה על קיר לבן, בלי הפרעות וכו', הייתי ממליץ לך לסנן מהתמונה רק את הצבע האדום, בצורה זו תקבל קבוצת פיקסלים קטנטנה, חשב את מרכז הקבוצה, ואת מיקומו, ויש לך את המיקום של מרכז הסמן

כאשר אנחנו עשינו פרויקט מהסיגנון הזה השתמשנו באלגוריטים בשם BLOB analysis (אנליזות גושים) .
שים לב שסמן הלייזר שלך ככל הנראה לא מופיע כנקודה אדומה, הוא מופיע כטבעת אדומה עם גוש לבן במרכז (רווית חיישן).
